Sailing Yachts

We have been organising team building sailing since 2003. Hospitality, staff rewards, teamwork, branding activities company days out, supplier assessment and racing regattas are all activities very familiar to us. The yacht above is our standard 40 footer which can carry 8 people including the skipper. We have several of these which we operate as a fleet from Lymington in the New Forest National Park.

Here are the key points of the standard itinerary:

• Meet in the marina bar overlooking the yachts for bacon bagettes, fresh orange juice and ground coffee
• Join the yachts for a safety briefing and familiarisation with the yachts equipment
• Head down river to the Solent where the sails are hoisted and sailing training takes place
• Race 1 around a pre arranged course of race marks finishing on the Royal Yacht Squadron line at Cowes
• Crew berth the yachts in the Cowes Yacht Haven adjacent to the high street with its yachting shops and bars
• Lunch in one of the iconic yacht clubs overlooking the Medina River
• Race 2 back to Lymington. Race two is usually a beat to windward, very different from the run downwind of Race 1
• Reconvene in the marina bar for presentation of prizes.

Motor Yachts

The above motor yacht can cater for 40 guests. Most in demand for race viewing during major events such as the Round the Island Race and Cowes Week. But not limited to the Solent, regularly operates from central London and other locations. A smaller luxury Oyster motor yacht can accommodate 10 people plus crew. We can also offer you a fleet of matched ribs, also available for bareboat hire to anyone who holds a RYA Powerboat level 2 certificate.

Of course the team building itineraries are quite different for the motor yachts with their huge speed and range advantage compared to the sailing yachts.To the west Poole Harbour, the worlds second largest natural harbour, is a favorite destination. And to the east, Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth Harbour with its al fresco dining alongside the marina is worth consideration. But you do not need to leave the Solent, the island harbours of Yarmouth, Cowes and Bembridge all offer fine attractions ashore.
