Stag Weekend 13-15 March 2015 Chris B March 16 at 1:31pm wrote: Thanks guys for an amazing weekend sailing. Boats were spot on and awesome skippers. The dinghy sailors in our group built up confidence on bigger boats, and those with no sailing experience aso had a fantastic time. We can't wait to come back. Now we just need someone else to get married....
Stag day October 2013 Hi Clive, Just a quick email to thank you for a really cracking day. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and you were a brilliant host - you have even inspired dad to enrol on a dinghy course when he gets back home!! Thank you again - hope to see you soon. Best regards, Woody [on this day, we started in the Hamble, went up the Beaulieu river for drinks, over to Newtown Creek for more drinks, out to the Needles to see the spectacular scenery, then back on the now rising tide to drop the crew in Yarmouth harbour for their evening meal at a renowned sea food restaurant, not bad for a days sailing for novices and a demonstration of the efforts we make on your behalf.]
Corporate team building day on two yachts July 2013 Dear Clive, It was a pity that you couldn’t make it afterwards for a drink, although I have to say we did end up catching up with Martin in the King’s Head at about 9pm so were able to buy him an ale, We’ll have to do the same for you some time! We had a fabulous day, so thank you so much. We felt in very safe hands and the day couldn’t have worked out better, apart from possibly slightly less strong winds (although I think it contributed to everyone feeling a sense of achievement at the end of the day) and a bit more sun. Obviously you don’t have much control over either. What is particularly satisfying is that a few people in the group were really quite anxious beforehand, and, I think it’s fair to say, not looking forward to it greatly. However, all of those people were really animated afterwards about what a fantastic time they had had. There might even be a few budding sailors amongst us given half the chance. As you know, a number of us live in Lymington, and we will be spreading the word that Hurst Point Yacht Charters are to be thoroughly recommended. Please feel free to pass these comments on by way of a testimonial, should you wish to. Have a good weekend and enjoy the weather! Kind regards, Fiona
Round the Island Race individual berth June 2012 Hi Clive! Thanks to you Dotty Dot and friends Bob had a 60th to remember. He was one of the happiest I have seen him in years on Saturday evening. I am going to try to persuade him to do more sailing, albeit a little less challenging, from now on. I hope his inexperience did not heed your progress too much. Thank you for making him so happy! Best wishes Pam
Round the Island Race individual berth June 2012 Hi Clive. Thank you very much for sending those great photos. And thanks also for an absolutely cracking weekend. That was the most fun I have ever had in a boat. I think your excellent skippering and race tactics deserved a better result – we threw it all away in those last few tacks with some rather ropey crewing! I can’t wait until next year. Thanks, Matt

Corporate Hospitality Day July 2012 Clive, Thanks for the kind words, I really wanted to get something across to you first but the last few days have been mad. Thanks mainly to your hard work, the day went like clockwork, with every single customer of ours commenting on the day, the weather whilst not ideal [torrential rain in fact!- ed] could not spoil the day, with big smiles on all faces back at the café for a quick coffee to warm up at the end of the trip. I got exactly what I had hoped for from the day with our customers and XXXX staff having to communicate, in order to make the sailing and racing fun. The lunch venue was first rate and was again enjoyed by all, I enjoyed lunch as I had some great banter with Kirsten who entertained my table and really entered into the sprit of the day. Perhaps I could ask you to pass on my regards and thanks. Martin also was great fun but unfortunately I never had much chance to speak at any length to him, but the feed back I got from both the crew on his boat and the people on his table at lunch was great, a big thank you to both of them. What you would not have been aware of was that 2 of my Directors were on the trip, and whilst I felt no pressure it was great to see them enjoy the day, both making positive comments about wanted to repeat the event next year. So fingers crossed and my budget permitting I am seriously considering making the XXXX South Coast sailing day an annual event, many of the customers have already said what do they have to do to get an invite for next year. ( simple answer keep buying XXXX from us) so again big hit with them also. I was disappointed that I was unable to say goodbye in person that evening but assumed that something had come up that delayed you, glad you liked the little giveaways left under your wind screen wipers and did wonder if they would still be there on your return. All in all and its heart felt a really big thank you and to your team for what was a fantastic day, and if any of you are about one night and fancy a drink at the club house I will be happy to buy you one, Kirsten unfortunately missed out on a magnum of champagne due to being held up at the moorings but please tell I enjoyed it and did raise a glass for her. Kind Regards Phil

Friends Reunion May 2012 'Clive, Thank you for your email, which I'll forward onto Alex, as you say, there may be a family connection there. We had a most enjoyable day sailing with you. You made us novices feel at home on the yacht, and did a great job to explain some of the mysteries around sailing. We also enjoyed a few beers in Lymington afterwards. I don't know whether or not we'll be in a position to influence any choice relating to a team building event from work, but if the opportunity presents itself, I'll certainly bear you in mind. Thanks again for a thoroughly enjoyable day, and I hope to be able to repeat the experience in future. Regards Graham'

'Thanks for the pictures and a great day yesterday. Everyone who participated had a great day and for many it was their first
experience at sea. All the feedback is that this event should be a regular occurrence and there is talk about entering the
Bovis Cup on Dotty. In fact Dotty now has cult status ........ The whole day was just about perfect, the weather conditions,
the food and the skippers all came together and delivered above expectation of the bosses, so thanks for that. Darren'
Hen weekend 2010 Bavaria 47 Southampton 'Hi Kevin, We all had a brilliant weekend, thank you. And thank you to our skipper, Andy. The sailing on the Saturday was great fun and it was amazing to be able to berth at Cowes Yacht Haven in the middle of Cowes Week! 'Hi Clive, That is a great result! (3rd out of 21 Bavaria 38s entered) I will not take any credit, however as you and the boys
deserve every bit of it. I enjoyed the race weekend so much that I am now planning to do my competent crew course. Once
I have got that under my belt, I know there are a number of clients of my firm (solicitors) who are keen sailors so I will endeavour to get
some events booked in next year. Kind regards, Dianne'
